Justine, or iJustine, is a lifecaster residing in Los Angeles, CA. She is orginally from Pittsburgh, PA. She is a Mac user, designer, video editor, blogger, internet lover, new media connoisseur, and S.V.U. guest star (for the first 5 minutes). She works as a freelance graphic designer and video editor along with her other internet projects.
This is a FAQ for people wanting to know a bit more about iJustine. It's also good for people participating in her lifecast in the #ijustine chat room at Justin.tv (JTV) or in the chat room hosted by Ustream.tv. This FAQ is not written by Justine, but nevertheless does strive to be accurate.

Q: Is her internet video stream broadcast live? (justin.tv)
A: Yes it is live. Yes, that is really her there. No she does not get paid for this. Remember you are one of possibly hundreds in the channel so please understand if she doesn't "say your name". Besides the live video viewer, there is also an archive of video. In the archive player you will see the 'archive mark' at the bottom-center of the viewer window.
When Justine is not there you may see the 'Not Broadcasting' message and her selected videos will roll if she has chosen any.
Other times you will get an error message from the server showing only a number and a message. If you see the 503 Internal Server Error message, this usually means the justin.tv servers are overloaded with requests. Try back later or keep refreshing your page and it will eventually come back. Top

A: With an army of gnomes and their teeny tiny little printing press techniques of course. ;) Justine works as a freelance graphic designer, web designer, and video editor. Freelance means working directly on design and video projects for clients instead of working for a firm. She is an official spokesperson for Xtrain(reference) along with other stuff. A: No, there is not a camera in the shower. There have no plans for a shower cam. The CEO of Justin.tv has decreed all channels will kept PG and we are guessing Justine will be keeping her channels PG-13. If you do find her in a shower cam, please email this author right away! Top

A: She has recently upgraded her cameras to two Logitech QuickCam Ultra Vision (amazon link) cams. In the past she had a Logitech QuickCam® Fusion™ (amazon link)and a Logitech QuickCam® for Notebooks Pro (amazon link). Top
Q: How can she roam around and still transmit to the Internet?
A: Her computer has a data transmitter in it that works with Sprint EV-DO service. If you are interested in this service, Sprint calls it the Sprint Mobile Broadband Network(reference). You can read more about EV-DO technology at evdoinfo (dot) com. Top
Q: What kind of computer does she have?
A: In this past she carried a Sony VAIO TX series laptop supplied by Justin.tv. As far as we know, she has since returned it to them. The VAIO TX laptop is similar to the one found on Amazon here and on evdoinfo here. The VAIO TX laptop is very small and is considered a subnotebook style laptop.
